A man has been charged with the murder of a shopkeeper who was killed in a machete attack in Rotherham.
Parvaiz Iqbal, 40, was found dead at his butcher’s shop on Grosvenor Road, Eastwood, on Tuesday. He had suffered multiple stab wounds.
Another man who was seriously injured is in a stable condition in hospital.
Naeem Mahmood, 27, of Herringthorpe Valley Road, Rotherham, is charged with murder and will appear before magistrates in the town later.
