Mr Adebolajo, who has asked to be known as Mujaahid Abu Hamza in court, was wearing a black shirt in court.

And Mr Adebowale, who wants to be known as Ismail Ibn Abdullah, wore a beige knitted jumper.

Mr Justice Sweeney told the court the trial would start in the “next few days”.
